INDRA SAS, a leading player in automotive recycling
Why did INDRA call on TCM?
Indra, a leading player in automotive recycling, entrusted us with designing and developing a new web platform for independent repairers and End-of-Life Vehicle Centres (CVHU). This solution aims to make it easier to connect them and to centralise access to, management and sale of auto parts.
Three technical challenges for a B2B marketplace
Developing a custom search engine
Designing an auto parts search engine adapted to the specific needs of the sector.
Managing complex pricing
Developing an advanced pricing engine incorporating complex calculation rules.
Making parts availability reliable
Setting up a system for booking parts and managing their availability.
Three environments for a complete B2B purchasing journey
From the public portal to the management back office
The architecture of the platform was designed around three distinct environments:
A public portal (front office): a true corporate showcase presenting the company’s activities, including the e-commerce module.
A secure customer area: dedicated to authenticated users, offering a complete purchasing journey (account creation, advanced parts search, booking and transaction).
A management back office: a centralised administration interface allowing internal teams to manage the user base, commercial strategy (pricing, promotions, exclusive offers) and sales administration.

Your questions about B2B auto parts marketplaces
What you need to know before digitalising a B2B purchasing journey, with the example of the platform developed for INDRA SAS.
By making it possible to search by several criteria at once (reference, compatibility, availability) across a large catalogue. This is what TCM developed for INDRA, with more than 800,000 parts listed.
By incorporating complex calculation rules specific to each customer or partner, without complicating the purchasing journey. It is one of the pillars of the platform TCM developed for INDRA.
TCM (The Coding Machine), a custom software development agency based in Lyon, developed a complete B2B e-commerce platform in PHP and Laravel for INDRA, the leader in automotive recycling in France, with a public portal, a secure customer area and a management back office.
